In the German App Store a search for “5Gringos” returns no result, and no native app is documented for Android either: according to AskGamblers there is no 5Gringos Casino app, the casino runs in the mobile browser, and the website ships a web app manifest that lets you place it on the home screen like an app. Unlike a classic casino app, 5Gringos needs neither a download nor an installation file.

5Gringos has been on the market since 2020. On 08.10.2026 the address 5gringos.com was reachable and redirected to 5gringos-0463.com; the website build was dated 02.10.2026. A German language version is listed in the language configuration of the operator’s website, with “at” next to “de”, and casino.guru and AskGamblers confirm it. According to de.casino.guru (as of 05.10.2026), the casino accepts players from Germany. Germany does not appear in the incomplete AskGamblers list of restricted countries, which names Bulgaria, France, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

Is there a 5Gringos app?

No, at least not one you download from a store. AskGamblers puts it literally: “No app is required and the casino is compatible on operating systems like iOS”. A search of the German App Store (iTunes search on 08.10.2026) for “5gringos” returned no result. No native app is documented for Android either. None of the sources consulted names an APK file with a source, file size or version number; for all three values there is no data.

The store rules explain why an offshore casino does without a store app. Google Play only admits real-money gambling apps with a licence in the respective country and lists only sports betting, horse racing and lotteries as permitted categories for Germany; online casino games and virtual slot machines are not listed for Germany. In Guideline 5.3.4, Apple requires real-money casino games to hold the necessary licences in every location where the app is used, to be geo-restricted to those locations and to be free to download. On Google Play, a real-money casino app for slots and live tables is therefore not provided for in Germany; in the App Store, 5Gringos would need a licence for Germany, which no source names.

For 5Gringos, this means: anyone who comes across a supposed “5Gringos APK” online is looking at a file for which no source from the operator is documented. Players describe the mobile version in matter-of-fact terms: “Mobile Spiele laufen gut und laden schnell” (mobile games run well and load fast), one player writes; another says of the live casino that the tables “funktionieren super auf meinem Handy” (work great on my phone). There is no data on the scope of the mobile game selection compared with desktop.

VI

Web app on Android and iPhone

What 5Gringos offers instead of a store app sits in a small file: the web app manifest at 5gringos.com/manifest.webmanifest, retrieved on 08.10.2026. It contains “display: standalone”. This field controls how the website starts once it has been placed on the home screen: with standalone it opens like a standalone app without an address bar; without the field it would appear as a normal browser tab. The website also sets the Apple meta tag “apple-mobile-web-app-capable=yes”. Technically, 5Gringos is therefore a web app (PWA) in the browser: one code base for all devices, with no store and no installation file.

There are no operator instructions for the web app; you use the device’s built-in functions instead. On the iPhone, you add a website in Safari via Share and “Add to Home Screen”; if the option is missing, “Edit Actions” helps. When adding, you can switch on “Open as Web App”; the icon then launches the site like an app and appears only on the device on which it was created. Apple does not use the term PWA publicly but has supported the technology in Safari since 2018. Why there is no APK for iOS and how App Store and web app relate to each other is explained in the overview of the casino app for iPhone.

On Android, you place the site on the home screen via the browser menu. Unlike with an APK, no installation from unknown sources has to be allowed for this. Android blocks apps from sources other than Google Play until the user explicitly permits it, and Google points out that such apps can endanger the device and personal data. With the 5Gringos web app this step is not needed, because nothing is installed on the device. How per-source permission, Play Protect and system requirements work with providers that offer a download is described on the page about the casino app for Android.

There is no data on system requirements or push notifications for 5Gringos. Web apps on the iPhone can in principle send notifications; whether 5Gringos uses this cannot be derived from the sources.

VII

Withdrawal limits at 5Gringos

Only one source gives concrete figures on the limits: according to AskGamblers, 5Gringos pays out at most €500 per transaction, €500 per day and €10,000 per month. Larger winnings are therefore split up. An amount of €2,000 takes at least four days if the daily limit is used in full, and no more than €10,000 can be withdrawn within one month, even if the daily limit is used every day.

None of the sources names a general minimum deposit or minimum withdrawal; both values remain without data. AskGamblers mentions a minimum deposit of €20 only for the bonus. Since there is no separate app, the same limits apply on mobile as on desktop. What role minimums, daily and monthly limits play with providers that have their own app is shown in the overview of deposits and withdrawals in the app. The sources do not state how long individual withdrawals or the document check take at 5Gringos.

VIII

Licence and operator: the sources contradict each other

On licence and operator, the information diverges. According to casino.guru, Rocketship Ventures S.R.L operates the casino, licensed by Anjouan (Comoros) and the Tobique Gaming Commission (New Brunswick, Canada). According to AskGamblers, 5Gringos belongs to the IGplay group of companies; the English version of AskGamblers names licences from Anjouan and from PAGCOR (Philippines), the German version only PAGCOR. A company and a group being named need not exclude each other, but a link between Rocketship Ventures and IGplay is not documented.

The finding for Germany is clear: the GGL whitelist (as of 02.10.2026) does not list 5Gringos. The operator names Rocketship Ventures and IGplay also returned zero hits in a full-text search, while control names such as Tipico with 26 and Merkur with 22 hits did appear. The whitelist contains no information on apps at all. Permitted providers state their licence and GGL supervision on their home page; since 01.07.2023 they have been able to use the GGL inspection and licence seal for this. Without an entry in the whitelist, the only access for Germany is via the browser or the web app.
